What are the admissions requirements to be admitted?
- Certificate of highest level of studies: High School or Bachelor’s Degree – diploma and transcript
- Personal identification documents (birth certificate, official valid ID with photo)
- Online interview with the Admissions Coordinator
- Tuition fee (Enterprise agreement)
How many academic periods do you have each year?

- Spring Trimester (January – April)
- Summer Trimester (May – August)
- Fall Trimester (September – December)
For each trimester the Admissions deadline is 1 month before.
About Online Education
Is it 100% online?
- Yes it is 100% online.
How does online study work?
- Your courses will be delivered online via Rochat´s virtual learning environment (LMS).
- The LMS (Learning Management System) provides you with a personalized platform that allows you to access study materials, interact with your Professor and classmates in discussions, and take online assessments. It also hosts online study resources such as eBooks and e-Journals.
What time are classes held?
- Since it is an online platform there is no a specific time to take the classes, but Professors may organize video conferences that you can attend.
What does asynchronous learning mean?
- There is no specific time for the studies, however students have to follow the weekly pace of the Professor.

*Earn an Associate’s Degree in Administration on your way to completing this Bachelor’s program, after accrediting the first 25 courses (2 years).
What are the durations of the programs?
- Undergraduate Programs: 3 years and 8 months (11 trimesters)
- Graduate Programs: 2 years (6 trimesters)
How long does each trimester take?
14 weeks, each trimester is divided in 2 periods of 7 weeks,
16 weeks in two academic periods of 6 weeks for each one
When does each period begin?
- Spring Trimester (January – April)
- Summer Trimester (May – August)
- Fall Trimester (September – December)
Can I apply to more than one program at a time?
- No
How many courses do I take simultaneously?
- Undergraduate Programs, you will take 2 courses (every 7 weeks) for a total of 4 courses each trimester.
- Graduate Programs, you will take 1 course (every 7 weeks) for a total of 2 courses each trimester.
Can I take either reduced or overload of credits
- Not in the early stages of the Program, eventually in the middle term
What if someone does not pass a course?
- They able to make that course up the next time it comes around
About Classes
How many hours a week do I need to study?
- About 5 hours a week per course
Do I need to order textbooks?
- No, you don´t. The material for the classes will be available at the LMS platform or provided by the professor
How will I be assessed?
- Through the platform you will receive the feedback and during each period you will have at least one video conference with your Professor
About Validity
What do I get once I finish a program?
- You will receive a Swiss Private Degree Diploma and transcript
Would my online degree be recognized out of Switzerland?
- It is up to the national authorities in the host country to decide whether to recognize foreign qualifications.
Will my certificate be recognized by potential employers?
- Rochat degree diplomas may be used by the holder to carry out a profession; appreciation of the value of private degrees is left up to employers.
Is it possible to transfer credits to another university?
- It is up to the higher education institution to decide whether to recognize the value of the prospective student’s prior qualifications.
Could you recognize credits from other universities/schools?
- Yes, it is possible to transfer credits from another University, requiring an equivalence of Studies with our Admissions Coordinator.
